Join us at Adamah Art Studios for a 6-Session *Clay Basics & Beyond* course! 🎨🏺 Class Details: Perfect for absolute beginners and those looking to build on previous clay experience, this course covers everything from the basics to more advanced techniques. The instructor will tailor the curriculum to each student's skill level, offering personalized 1:1 guidance to help you develop your skills and explore specific interests in clay. Class Fee: includes unlimited clay during class time, up to 10 finished pieces, and free studio access during Open Studio times. **Session Structure:** - Class 1: Intro to the studio, clay wedging, and hand-building basics. - Class 2: Hand-building techniques, focusing on cylinders and cups. - Class 3: Introduction to centering and throwing. - Class 4: Wheel throwing, focusing on cylinders and cups. - Class 5: Trimming and finishing wet work. - Class 6: Glazing techniques and final touches. Age Requirement: 17+ (ages 14-16 must attend with an adult). Additional Visit: One visit is required post-class to pick up your finished work. Policies: - Full refund if canceled 15 days before class; 50% refund if canceled 10 days prior. - If you miss a class, a quick make-up session is available 30-minutes before or after pre-scheduled ongoing classes. (must be arranged prior to class) Preparation Tips: Participants with long nails are advised to trim them before the course. Wear clothes suitable for getting messy.
